Green tea in general pairs well with vegetables, so it is a suitable ingredient for a salad dressing.
I’ll share with you a quick and simple recipe.
You can add more ingredients to change its flavor if you wish.
I obtained it by looking at different Japanese recipes.
Here’s the recipe:
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp matcha
- salt and pepper to taste
First, mix the olive oil and vinegar.
If you want a milder flavor, you can substitute the white vinegar with rice vinegar.
The next step is to add the matcha and mix thoroughly.
At this point you’re done. But there are other variations that you can experiment with.
For example: adding a bit of soy sauce, or miso, or sesame oil.
You can keep it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
